Beginning at a point which is the intersection of the Northern Vermilion Parish Boundary Line and the Louisiana Meridian; thence northeasterly along said northern Parish boundary line to its intersection with the centerline of Louisiana Highway 705; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 705 to its intersection with the centerline of Louisiana Highway 92; thence easterly, southerly and easterly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 92 to its intersection with the centerline of Parish Road P-5-22 (Noah road); thence southerly along the centerline of Parish Road P-5-22 (Noah Road) to its intersection with the centerline of Louisiana Highway 699; thence easterly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 699 to its intersection with the centerline of Louisiana Highway 343; thence southerly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 343 to its intersection with the centerline of highway 697; thence westerly and southerly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 697 and continuing southerly along the centerline of Parish Road P-9-36 (Springhill Road) which is the boundary line between Range 2 East and Range 3 East and continuing along said range line to its intersection with the centerline of Parish Road P-9-13 (Melrose Road); thence westerly along the centerline of Parish Road P-9-13 (Melrose Road) to its intersection with the centerline of Parish Road P-6/7-20 (Vigneaux Road); thence southerly along the centerline of Parish Road P-6/7-20 (Vigneaux Road) which is also the boundary line between Ward 6 & Ward 7 and continuing along said ward line to its intersection with the centerline of Schooner Bayou Canal; thence westerly along the centerline of Schooner Bayou Canal to its intersection with the range line between Range 2 East and Range 1 East; thence southerly along said range line to the southern boundary of Vermilion Parish; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Vermilion Parish to its intersection with the western boundary of Vermilion Parish; thence northerly along the western boundary of Vermilion Parish to its intersection with the ward line between Ward 7 and Ward 8; thence easterly along said ward line to its intersection with the ward line between Ward 8 and Ward 6; thence northerly, then easterly along said ward line to its intersection with the Louisiana Meridian; thence northerly along the Louisiana Meridian to its intersection with the northerly boundary line of Vermilion Parish, which is the point of beginning.
